“We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.” – Aldo Leopold⠀

Although the US election is still not settled yet (technically), I am very hopeful and happy (along with much of the rest of the world) that the USA will rejoin the Paris agreement.
⠀
“The Paris Agreement builds upon the Convention and for the first time brings all nations into a common cause to undertake ambitious efforts to combat climate change and adapt to its effects, with enhanced support to assist developing countries to do so. As such, it charts a new course in the global climate effort.” – Unfcc.int⠀

So in honor of that, here is a collection of a lovely day spent exploring the Montemarte area of Paris, including the famous Sacré-Cœur, a gorgeous church built-in 1914, and as you can see, the vibrant community surrounding it that day.

Even though I was traveling solo, I felt just as much as part of the community simply because I could see how much there was to adore and cherish here.

What we love, we must care for, including our precious planet.??
